shuffle board at the beach
Last night, we had dinner at our relatives' rental house. After dinner, we were going to head down to Family Kingdom amusement park in Myrtle. The boys didn't really want to go, so we opted to head over to the beachfront to play shuffle board. When we first got down to the courts, SJ said it was like curling. I have never played before, but my brother-in-law had. He explained to all of us how to play. Bob was a natural. He was able to push the disc much farther than most of the adults. SJ needed a little help. He was having some trouble shooting the disc to the other end of the court. We let him move up a little and he did much better. We teamed up and had a great time. SJ even got his team (with my husband) 20 points on one turn. Bob and I were teammates. We lost our game, as well as SJ and my husband. It was a lot of fun, though. It was a great family activity that we will definitely play again!
