after school tutoring #22

This past Monday, SJ had his last after school tutoring with Mrs. Banks.  He will continue to be tutored throughout the summer, but we are taking a few weeks off.  

Mrs. Banks had SJ continue reading more chapters of Tarantula Shoes.  She said he was a little distracted at first, but he managed to pull himself together after 15 minutes.  

She said they still have about 6 chapters left. Then, they will move onto a new book.  

Eventhough he can be distracted during their sessions, she said she has been pleased with all the progress SJ has made during his sixth grade year.  

I am extremely proud to announce that he finished with an 86 (mid B) in reading. That is awesome for SJ.  We will continue tutoring in seventh grade as well.
