swimming, flipping and movie watching

This past weekend SJ got to do three of his favorite things.  On Friday, I took SJ to the pool after I got home from Bob's ortho appointment.

When we first arrived, our friends weren't there yet.  No problem for SJ.  He was right in the water (even though it was very cold!).  Shortly after we arrived, Topher's and Willie's families arrived.  SJ was so excited that his friends were now at the pool.  Our neighbor, Tommy, and his mom came a little while later.  The boys had such a great time at the pool.

The next night Topher's mom invited us over to hang out.  Willie's family was over there as well.  Topher has a trampoline at his house.  SJ loves trampolines.  We used to have one. It got rusty, so it had to go.

SJ was back and forth between the trampoline and playing with the boys. The boys were playing flashlight tag and video games. The trampoline kept pulling SJ back.  He was even jumping on it when it was dark.  I allowed him to do flips on it until it got too dark.  I was afraid he would land on the frame.

On Sunday, SJ talked my husband into taking him to see Planes.  SJ liked it, but my husband was only so-so about it.  SJ loves going to the movies.

SJ was one happy boy this weekend.  He got to do his favorite things.  I am so happy when he is happy!
